Für alle City of Bones Fans gibt es tolle Nachrichten ! Der zweite Filmtrailer plus zwei Filmposter wurden veröffentlicht !

"Scott Charles Stewart durfte sich nach Priest und Legion ein weiteres Mal für Screen Gems auf dem Regiestuhl austoben. Beim Ergebnis handelt es sich um Chroniken der Unterwelt: City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments), die Verfilmung der populären Bestseller-Buchreihe von Cassandra Clare. Der jetzt veröffentlichte zweite Filmtrailer und brandneue Kinoposter entführen uns heute erneut in die düstere Parallelwelt voller Dämonen und Magie. Regie führte The Karate Kid Regisseur Harald Zwart. Es gibt ein erstes Bild vom (fast) gesamsten Cast der City of Bones Verfilmung, die im August 2013 in die Kinos kommen soll. Clockwork Princess Cover

Das es um Cassandra Clare nie wirklich still ist haben wir schon öffters mitbekommen. Ist ja auch kein wunder, bei all den Projekten, an denne sie arbietet. Jetzt gibt es neues von ihren Chroniken der Schattenjäger. In einer groß angelegten Twitter Aktion entüllte sie das Cover zum dritten und letzten Teil der Reihe, Clockwork Princess, der am 19. März 2013 erscheinen soll...

Auf dem Cover zu sehen ist laut Cassandra Clare selber Tessa Grey, die den Codex der Schattenjäger in der Hand hält (den es ja auch noch irgendwann zu kaufen geben wird).
Das Buch soll wieder hauptsächlich in england spielen und ein Auszug aus dem Roman wird in kürze folgen.

Das Cassandra Clare nach Deutschland auf Lesereise kommt, ist ja schon etwas länger bekannt. Aber jetzt gib es endlich auch ein erstes genaues Datum.
Anlässlich der lit.COLOGNE (internationales Literaturfest in Köln)wird Cassandra Clare am 24. März in Köln aus City of Fallen Angels lesen. Begleitet wird sie dabei, wie schon 2009, von Claudia Engler, die auf deutsch lesen wird..
Für alle Cassandra Clare Fans in und um Köln heißt es also Aufpassen, die Karten sind für 5, 50 € im Vorverkauf erhältlich.

City of Lost Souls Teaser & Poster

Und noch mehr Neuigkeiten von Cassandra Clare. Letzte Nacht veröffntlichte die Autorin folgendes Bild. Es gibt einen groben Vorgeschmack auf das amerikanische City of Lost Souls Cover, dass im Dezember diesen Jahres zum ersten mal gezeigt wird. Zusätzklich dazu gab es noch einen eben so kleinen, wie interessanten Mini-Teaser und einen etwas längeren Teaser, den wir euch natürlich auch nicht vorenthalten wollen:D.
Das Buch erscheint übrigens am 8. Mai 2012 in Amerika und etwas später dann auf deutsch...

Gabriel and Gideon were standing in a patch of light at the centre of the room, facing off against each other. Tessa noticed something she had not noticed before: Gabriel, despite being the younger brother, was lankily taller than Gideon by some inches. Gideon was more muscular, broader through the shoulders. The Dark Artifices

Einigen Fans von Cassandra Clare wird The Dark Artifices bereits ein Begriff sein. Es handelt sich um ein neues Projekt aus der Feder der Autorin, in dem es wieder um Schattenjäger gehen wird.
Bisher waren nur sehr spärrlich Informationen durchgesickert, ob die Reihe überhaupt veröffentlicht weren würde. Cassandra Clare beteuerte selber immer, dass sie erst mit dem Schreiben beginnen würde, wenn die anderen beiden Schattenjäger Projekte abgeschlossen sind.
Jetzt twitterte die Autorin allerdings, dass sie bereits ein wenig mit dem schreiben der Serie begonnen hat.

Auf viele Anfragen hin schob Mrs. Clare dann noch dieses Informationen nach (eine Übersetzung von uns findet ihr unter weiterlesen ;3):

The Dark Artifices: Okay, a quick recap. I have a plan for another Shadowhunter trilogy (contemporary, but not about the characters from TMI). Working title: The Dark Artifices. It takes place five years after the end of TMI (ie in 2012) and deals with the Shadowhunters of the Los Angeles Institute. There is a tangential connection to the characters of TMI but they are not main characters. The main characters are teens (meaning that during the events of TMI they'd be 11, 12 years old.) The main female protagonist's name is Emma, the main male protagonist's name is Julian. They are both Shadowhunters. They both have always known they are Shadowhunters. There is love, magic, romantic confusion, etc. and so on. I have not sold these books; I haven't written any of them, I won't until I'm done with what I'm writing now. So I don't have a pub date beyond "after CoHF", and I have other, non-Shadowhunter projects I'm also planning on. But thanks for being so interested, everyone!

* Since it takes place 5 years after the end of CoHF it is reasonable to assume that surviving characters from TMI will make cameos. They will be in their early twenties so you'll get to see what they're up to in their more adult lives.

Clockwork Angel Extra Szene

Cassandra Clare hat bereits vor längerem angekündigt, dass sie, sobald sie 40 000 twitter Follower hat, eine Szene aus Clockwork Angel online stellt. Na ja, momentan sind wir bei 39 950, aber Frau  Clare hat ein Auge zu gedrückt und die Szene trotzdem schon online gestellt.
